TAKAISIN - zine - print edit

This self-published textile zine explores Karelian embroidery, memory, belonging, and the experience of inherited cultural loss. Its small A7 format unfolds into an interactive object, inviting the reader not only to look, but also to handle, open, and engage with the work.

Each edition is produced in one language, with selected additional texts provided in either Finnish or English. Combining textile imagery, ornament, and personal reflection, the zine approaches cultural heritage as something living: something that can be remembered, questioned, protected, and carried forward.

Proceeds from the zine support the continuation of Karjalan Lanka – Karelian Embroidery Reimagined.
