Lucky One draws inspiration from the humble white clover, a recurring motif in the artist’s earlier Botanical Studies. In this piece, embroidered clover leaves bloom across an abstract, raw canvas background, echoing the natural spontaneity of wild growth. At first glance, the work presents abstract pattern of familiar forms—but hidden within is a single four-leaf clover.

This quietly embedded element invites the viewer into an intimate act of looking, encouraging close observation to uncover the “lucky one.” Through layered stitching, varying textures, and translucent embroidered fragments, the piece rewards curiosity and slowness—qualities often lost in fast-paced visual culture.
